It is a pleasure to welcome you to our school’s website.
Scoil Dara is a happy school where learning, growing and caring are the key concerns and activities of students and staff.
In Scoil Dara we value openness and collaboration. Through our website we want to acquaint you with our school, its history, values and mission. We want to introduce you to our Students, Staff and Board of Management. In your browsing you will be briefed on our school policies, the different programmes we offer in the school and the range of subjects and opportunites we provide for our students. We want to share our successes and celebrations with you as well as our challenges.
This year, 2026, we celebrate 35 years of Scoil Dara. Since our school's founding in 1991, we have provided a safe learning environment for all students. Our students are nurtured and sustained by an extremely supportive staff. We provide a vast array of opportunities for student growth, personal and spiritual development and our goal is to guide students on the journey to reaching their potential.
As a CEIST school, we are proud to live out the values of:
- Achieving High Quality Learning and Teaching
- Creating Community
- Being Just and Responsible
- Promoting Personal and Spiritual Development
- Showing Respect for Every Person.
This Year, the two key words that we will reinforce with our students are Peace and Tolerance.
We will be updating our website on a regular basis and we invite you to respond and comment on any aspect of our school directly by email, by dialogue on our forums.
