Scoil Dara received its first Green Flag in 2016.
The success of the Litter and Waste flag was down to the cooperation of the Green Schools Committee, our caretaker Michael and the wider school community. Ms Vivash travelled to DCU for the ceremony to receive the flag with a number of representatives from the Green Schools Committee.
It was a wonderful day and such a thrill to bring our first Green Flag back. In this school year we hope to achieve the Energy flag. Much work has been completed on same and we have taken on mentoring from the SEAI in relation to our Energy flag. There will be further updates during the year.
