Gaelic games are a valued part of student life in Scoil Dara, offering opportunities for personal growth, teamwork, and school spirit. We are proud to field both boys’ and girls’ teams across a range of age groups, supporting participation from all skill levels. Training and competitive fixtures not only promote fitness and wellbeing but also encourage resilience, discipline, and leadership. Through GAA, our students build friendships, celebrate community, and connect with Ireland’s rich sporting tradition, making it an integral part of the Scoil Dara experience.
We field hurling teams at all age grades, including First Year, Second Year, Junior, and Senior. Training for First and Second Years is on Fridays after school, with Junior and Senior training on Tuesdays. In Camogie, we are represented by junior and senior teams with training taking place on Mondays.
